Isn't it wierd! I feel just the same. When I looked around my tidy house last night, I was so pleased I'd started this Flying lark.
I'm sure it was more than a warm glow from mulled wine and mince pies from a party over the road
Up bright and early this moring, raring to go and get it really clean, too! If you'd told me last year that I'd be like this, I'd have thought I was going barmy.

Punky, can you see anyone's avatar, or is only Michelle's missing?
If you can't see anyone's you need to change your settings.
1. up to the top of the page, select User CP (just under thread title)
2. left hand side, select Update options (or something like that, with options in the title)
3. scroll down until you get a box with show avatars. Click in the box, which should then show a tick
4. if that doesn't work, PM me and I'll have another look.

GOOOOOOOOOD MORNING FLYEEEERS!!!!! *Robin Williams Style* :j:hello::xmassign:
What a beautiful morning it is too... I've been awake since 6.15 but didn't get out of bed until 6.50 and I feel GGGGRrreeeeaaaaat:rotfl: Before you think anything smutty, OH was up and on the computer at 6am
Looking forward to a week of wrapping pressies, keeping on top of the cleaning and praying my fridge-freezer doesn't decide to die on me after the noises it was making this morning :shhh:
So my daily list for the week is :- KBBD
- Laundry (1 a day, except today I'll do 2 as I have towels to wash)
- Evening meal planning - OH is out on his staff nightout tonight at Pizza hut (paid for with a voucher from pigsback
) so DD and I are having shop bought vegetable pizza and cheesy garlic bread as a treat
- Check Bank account (praying that I don't go overdrawn and OH's transfer to me clears on Friday or the rent SO might bounce
)
- Bleach mould
- Salt pots to be checked and changed as necessary
- Hoover/ mop floors as appropriate
- Ironing
- Clean Fridge
- Defrost freezer
- Monthly shop
- Charity Run
- Clean windows
- Clean Brass
- Post ebay items
- Shredding
- Work on SIL Pressie
- Journal Jar questions for grandad-in-law
- Wrap pressies

- DD
- Liverpool
- IL's
- Bake Prune cake x 2
So far I have made packed lunches for OH and DD, put brekkie out for DD and myself, and put a wash load in the machine which is amazing for this time of the morning. ATM DD is writing out her last Christmas Card (to her uncle) and I've nearly finished my brekkie so I'll be able to go up and sort out the beds and washing while she gets ready upstairs :j Leaving me post school run to pop to the Co-op (need margarine again... I swear someone is eating it by the spoonful in this house! ) and get on with SIL's pressie. After school DD and I will be wrapping OH's Xmas pressies before he comes home and then I might put them under the tree.. it all depends on whether I hoover and mop the floor today or I might leave them until Christmas Eve as usual.
Right, off to chase DD to clean her teeth. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Now for the kitchen/cookery hints/tips/recipes... someone send a blackforest guateax in to look for me if I'm not out by 2.30:D
