I might have some info at work. I have a vague recollection but need to check it's the same company.

How did you come across them? They don't seem to have much of an internet presence.

They will be fee-charging so probably not a good idea.

They were recommended by Homeowners Rescue Advice Centre which is a charity.

Yes it is - reg charity 1121633.

Two of the trustees are Anthony Harrison and Richard Harrison, and they operate from Jamesons Hall, Swansea SA6 8DU

The address is shared by Harrison Mortgage Strategies.

I wonder if Home Management Services share the same address as well as the same acronym?

Anyway, this group did mailshot the CAB Network in January 2009 and I am aware of one case that a CAB adviser referred to them. The court desk adviser reported that the client had been charged up front and was due to be further invoiced, for the production of a three-page letter that the client was to take to her hearing. At the hearing, the judge disregarded the letter and just quizzed the client on her circumstances. As she could afford to pay the mortgage and something to the arrears she was granted a suspended order. The letter made no difference except to add to her debts.

We shouldn't generalise from one case. Others may have had more positive experiences with them.

If you add Homeowners Rescue Advice Centre to your title this thread may get more attention. But as things stand I would say - talk to Shelter and/or CAB
