I just got an e-mail directing me here
http://www.jobsforthegames.co.uk/
to register your interest for paid jobs at the olympics. It says they needs 100,000 staff "From security guards and catering staff, to office workers and professional appointments". Hope this helps someone!

The security is dealt with by my employer G4S, not Adecco
For all other jobs you can go direct to the LOCOG website via www.london2012.co.uk or their job page http://www.london2012.com/get-involved/jobs/index.php
The website is powered by Adecco who I assume will just be looking for temp staff. Seeing as a standard job for the games won't happen until alot nearer the time it screams out the Adecco need names and numbers.Estate Agent, Web Designer & All Round Geek!0 -
If you look at the bottom right hand corner of https://locogrecruitment.london2012.com/jobs/main you'll see Adecco are the recruiter here as well.
I'm sure at the moment they are just collecting names and numbers, in much the same way as you could sign up for volunteer job information long before the volunteer jobs opened up. However it's still a good way to stay in touch with what is on offer and I entered this in Up Your Income as I realised it would be temporary job opportunities. I stand by what I said, I hope it's helpful to someone.0
