has any one used payplan before?

Hi am looking to do an IVA with pay plan,
Just wondered if any one has used them for some thing similar like an iva or dmp?
If so were they any good?

I've checked out review pages but its not very helpful as it seems so 50 50!
Thanks :T

You would be better posting in the IVA section, http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=159 or even in the Debt section for a better response.

My brother used them. They give a link to "justabank" I think it's called where you can track your money etc which is pretty handy.

They're initially quite good but my brother had to complain twice over an issue that he had with a lender... and he's been with Payplan for 4 years now. Some of their advisors, although all based in the UK, don't have a great grasp of the English language.

Make sure you request an English born advisor like my brother did. He hasn't had a problem with them since... oh and good luck.

I use them for my DMP and to be honest at the minute i don't seem to have a greate deal of contact with them only if i get a problem with a creditor One of my creditors started to put the full rate of interest back onto my account which I noticed when I received my statement I had to contact them and they said it was because my arrangement had run out and that payplan should have contacted them again which they did after I asked tham to :(

Could you use Consumer Credit Counselling? They are government funded and best of all its free!! Or contact your local CAB for an appointment which is also free.

CCCS are funded in the same way as Payplan - by a rake-back from the creditors.

CAB are not, of course. They are funded by FIF, LSC and local councils - which is why many Bureaux are having a funding crisis at the moment. Many CABs would have referred to Payplan in the past but there is now a pilot scheme linking them to CCCS.
