Does a CCJ automatically get removed after 6 years if debt is still being paid off

Great forum and advice for all. First post.

I have read re CCJs and after 6years being removed etc, but I seem to find conflicting advice re if the they are removed after 6 years if I am still paying the debt off?

So, was awarded against me in Jan 2004, I have since been paying off at £60/months and now down to £4k. Never missed a payment.

It's now 6 years (just) and I was wondering if this will disappear from my credit file OR if its 6 years post paying off in full...?

Yep. Should come off your credit report 6 years after the judgement was first made, whether you've finished paying it off or not.

I've seen it "claimed" that a creditor could apply to "re-register" an unpaid judgement again, but can't honestly say that I've heard of it actually happening.
