what can i make with stir fry beef strips?

trying to use up the contents of my freezer for some meals and i have 2 packs of strips of beef. I would use it for stir fry but i read toddlers shouldn't have soy sauce!
Any ideas of other uses?

  • Could you use a different sauce for the stir fry? I always have Worcestershire sauce :D

What about using in a chili instead of minced beef? Or frying with lots of onions and serving warm in a bread roll and having potato wedges on the side.

I avoid soy too, but still have stirfrys occasionally. I flavour with other things.....lemon grass, ginger, garlic, lime juice, coconut. :) You could marinade the beef in something suitable and then fry with veg and no other sauce, or make a waggamama style ramen soup if you think they may be reluctant without a ''sauce''.

Stroganoff, stirfry with garlic, ginger and a little five spice, beef curry, chop it smaller and use in a beef and mushroom pie.
Why should toddlers avoid soy sauce? - is it the salt or the soya?
