Hi
So, your loan started in 2004?, and you're still paying it, and you have a dispute on it?
Whether the loan is paid or not, in answer to your question re the loan 'falling off' your file - settled accounts remain on your file for 6 yrs from the date of last payment, the same as defaults/CCJs etc (so my Experian booklet tells me)
Hope that helps xHere to offer help and advice, and maybe take a little in return.
Whilst I am happy to share my knowledge, I am in no way a professional... I can not therefore accept responsibility for inaccurate info, I ask that you take professional advice rather than rely totally the info provided by myself :beer:0 -

Nothing for 6 months?? I'd get back in touch with the insurance guys to find out what's going on.
I'm not sure if its right they still update your file as a missed payment if its in dispute though, I'm sure they should mark it as a query (sure someone will be along to correct me if I'm wrong)
