A bit more advice please

Options
Hi all,

Having trouble with CC also overdraft, basically i have a £1050 OD with Sandanter, and my take home pay is £1150 approx, all my priority debts are payed on time, but a couple of others dont get payed till the begining of the next month, and im talking about £30 in total but i seem to be getting charged around £75 per mnth in fees. I have yesterday opened up a new acc with an unconnected BS. What i would like advice about is when i get my wages payed into my new acc do i tell Santander or wait for them to send the threatening letters, do i tell them how much i can afford to pay them back, plus ask them to freeze interest, and how soon do i try to reclaim charges due to their charges causing me extreme hardship ?

Many thanks for your help
Dougie
PS I have moved this thread from the bank reclaiming forum after some good advice on there, thanks

    Hi

    CAn we check?

Do you put your take home pay into your Santander account, where the OD is?
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing

    Ok

So the first thing you need to do is to open yourself a new basic bank account with a company that has no relationship with Santander, and to move your salary into this pronto. Otherwise, they can legally off-set your income against you OD.
