I'm purchasing some software online.

The seller has requested payment via Western Union.

I've never heard of Western Union, is it safe?

Whilst I do buy online I have used Paypal in the past. Is Western Union like Paypal?

Western Union is untrackable, untraceable, and there is no way you get your money backif anything goes wrong. I ALWAYS suspect anyone who requests Western Union as payment is up to no good - have you asked if they have any other payment options?

If I were you I would not use Western Union.

I have used it in the past but got ripped off.

I have previously sent money via western union and had no probs , once to china for a dress (£150) and also an emergency transfer to hubby abroad ,the rates are steep and they have to have photographic id to collect the money ,but mine was fine.
