I did this exact thing - not paid mortgage since middle of Sept, they still haven't even begun repo yet!! Just remember you must pay buildings insurance on the mortgaged property until it is repossessed - and any utility bills remain your responsibility, unless you include them in the BR
Wont be inlcuding any bills in the BR as I will be switching all to the new property and also,I am up to date with the all the utilites. The building insurance is covered by the service charge bill I pay 6 monthly-which is due in May-which I will be including in the BR and want to be out by then anyway(I put money aside every month for this-but will use this to add to the deposit I need to rent a new place)
Do be honest all I need is 2 months worth of mortgage payments to use the cash for BR and then go and rent another place-divert my post and leave the flat empty and that be included in the BR-can I do this?0
