I've got 750 pairs of earrings, similar to what you would buy in topshop/dorothy perkins/wallis etc all brand new
My auntie has a wedding dress shop and bought these as little extras for at the back of her counter and on the till area. She has decided that they 'cheapen' the shop although they did prove to be good sellers she felt that they were having a detrimental effect on the types of dresses sold.
She paid £1 -£3 each and sold them for between £5-£10. In little gift boxes or pouches which she bought from ebay for 50p.
I have just got the earrings on the cards although I don't mind purchasing the boxes but I'm having real problems shifting them.
I did a carboot on sunday selling them for £1 didn't sell any. The carboot was packed with buyers but they were all buying colletables/kitchen ware etc.
They are not suitable for etsy as they are neither handmade nor vintage.
I've opened a business seller account on ebay and I'm going to list them this week but there's loads similar on there remaining unsold.
There's a local church table top sale in a couple of weeks that I may try but I'm completely at a loss as to where to sell them. I thought at £1 each they would fly out.
My local arts and crafts fair is twice weekly and they charge £17 a table so that's an option but again I don't think that they are suitable as they aren't handmade.
Any advice on where to get rid of them:)

Earrings can be a struggle as they are so cheap to buy, my local Primark for instance has ultra modern ones at a £1 a go and even other places rarely charge more than that.
How about trying them as a job lot of ebay just to get rid of them and let someone elswe try them at a car boot sale?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
