hi all, going
got a problem with my bank, i missed my mortgage at chrismas time,i phoned the bank up and asked them can i make additional payments to catch up, they agreed that i can make 12 payments and gave a a sort code and account number to send it to, i also missed my personal loan at this time and trying to deal with this with cccs, i phone my bank up today to have them saying that the 12 payments i have been paying have not come off the mortgage but the loan, i told them i agreed to pay the mortgage but they said because i missed the loan i broke that agreement, can anyone tell me where i stand please..thanks
the cccs have told me what to pay towards my loan, so do i cancel the standing order for what i thought was going on to my mortgage

Was any of this done in writing?

I would suspect that you would need to allocate an account number to make the payment to. I know banks can offset by taking money out of an existing account, but not heard of them taking payment for one thing and allocating it to something else.
