Wedding Venue Problems - Need A Fast Replacement In Warwickshire

After months of negotiations with a small venue in town they've now decided to let us down 3 and a half months before we get married:mad:

The situation is a LONG one and not one I'll bore you with but we are now desperately trying to find somewhere else to hold the afternoon and evening parts of our wedding.

We get married on June 11th and we've been really unfortunate that the 6-7 places we have spoken to this morning are booked on that day.

I am struggling so much that I am even thinking about cancelling the whole thing as it's driving me to craziness:(:(

Does anyone have any suggestions in the Nuneaton/Hinckley areas that don't cost a bomb as we don't have a lot of wedding budget left to sort anything:( We have around 50 people and need catering too

Which venues have you already checked, and are you willing / able to self cater?

oh no im sad to see this! i think i helped all i could before and didnt do too well because of not being local but didnt want to read and run hope you get somewhere xxx

We had our reception here http://www.bw-westonhallhotel.co.uk/contactus.asp but I can appreciat that it probably isn't in budget.

I'm more over Tamworth way but will have a think. Would you go to Atherstone perhaps - first thought was the Red Lion, we had a Christmas do there once and it was lovely.

We had our wedding at the Barcelo in Blackpool and it was fab, we also went to another Barcelo wedding in Cheshire which again was fab. Huge difference in what each couple paid as ours was a "wedding in a box" and the other wasn't but both events were treated the same and we all were made to feel very well looked after.

We have checked the Bedworth Civic Hall, Meeting Centre/Meeting Rooms in Hinckley, The Chase Hotel on Higham Lane and then we hit a mind blank.

Yes we're willing/able to self cater as we have a litttle cafe in town that will cater for us

Weston Hall is a no-go for us. OH's cousin is getting married there next year and I know if we go there first it will cause a bit of a ruckus in the family!:rotfl:

I thought about the Red Lion but there aren't any prices on the website so OH is ringing them this morning to find out if they're free etc:D

This is another one that we thought of but immediately thought that it would be too expensive as OH's old best friend got married there and it cost him a BOMB:(
