My parents stay at this hotel when they come to visit me in Scarborough. It's beautiful, they love it. Will have to tell them about this offer as it's much less than they normally pay I think, so thanks!
BTW what does 'Blackout dates' actually mean? I'm assuming it's dates when the offer is not available??0 -
Indeed blackout dates are when they are not available. The feb dates are due to half term, April ones are the easter hols, may is spring half term/ May Day and the others they are already booked for0

I stayed in that hotel late last year and can recommend it. If you watch their website for deals you can often pick up a very cheap weekend, complete with 3 course meals.
The rooms are spacious, not quite as 'tidy' as the larger chains, but it is set in lovely grounds and the food is excellent.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Stayed here before, recommended before and have no hesitation in recommending again. We have stayed there 4 times in total now and every time the staff, service, food and rooms have been 5 star quality.
Beautiful location and only 15 minutes drive tops to Scarborough and their superb beaches.
If you book a stay here you won't be disappointed.0 -

Thanks Wibble3 - makes sense now you've pointed those specific dates. I should think before I speak!
I'm guessing they do that because they know they will get plenty of enquiries for these dates anyway.0 -

Hi sgriffiths, from what I remember all the rooms apart from the suite are on the first floor and there isn't a lift. Give them a call and ask, they're lovely people and they can tell you better then me!0 -
