hi i had a medion aldi pc in the past amd been superb, anyone comment on the below for value please
bear in mind the 3 year warranty!

Comet have an acer amd core 1.6Ghz x2duo for £489.99, it is much better than the aldi one. Quidco 3.5% back.

Woolworths have got the same (or very similar) Medion laptop for sale at £399.00 today, states half price on the poster in the window that I saw this morning!

I think the Woolies one is the MD96032.

the comet acer is now £479.99 (i just ordered one)... does it look any good to the more seasoned laptop purchasers out there? it has a gig of RAM and a 120gig hard disk, which is what swung it for me.

i have had 2 aldi/medion pcs and they have been really good value.
the warranty is not free so take off £100 and what would you then get.
a 3 year warranty on a laptop is worth having.
having said that i brought asus earlier this year with a 2 year warranty.
at the time the medion laptops were not upto spec.
i would price the spec against other brands and see what you find.
the warranty has been used several times and the service has been 8/10.
main bug bear was the time it took to give a date, about a 2 week wait.
this was on the medion pcs not the asus.

Yes its a good laptop and at a very good price

i have brought one today, it is very good especially you get 3 years guarantee but there are not a great deal of software on it even the Microsoft Office is for 60 days trial and it also lacks in Bluetooth.

no queue thoughpicled up blooth tooth usb adapter for £7 though
so may be worth you picking one up tomorrow
