CEFA and DipFA

Hi can anyone tell me the difference between CEFA or anyother level 3 qualification and DipFA? do I need CEFA before DipFA, what if I started CEFA but dont finish it before 2012?

You will need both certs in order to practice.
CeFA is level 3 and DipFA is level 4. Depending on how good you are, you can easily complete both in 12 months.
The real question is, do you have work experience?Motto: 'If you don't ask, you don't get!!'

It is true that DipFA is a level 4 diploma but it is stand alone and you don't have to have passed CeFA first. If you have started CeFA you might want to see it through for the experience because you have a while to pass DipFA. It is not essential to have industry experience either but it certainly helps.
DipFA runs to a strict timetable based on when you register and pay fees, and it is certainly possible to pass within a year. Of course, just passing the examination does not allow you to practise as an adviser. You will need to be authorised or employed by a directly authorised firm or appointed representative.0 -

Whats the situation with CEFA anyone? ATM I got CEFA 1,2,3 but still no job and obviously no CAS status is it any point doing the CEFA 4??0
