Change Dir.Deb date?
I think this is the most appropriate place to ask..
I have my car insurance with Tesco and pay monthly by Direct Debit. They set a date of the 1st which is the date I joined them back in November, but because of where pay day falls this month (a Saturday) my wages won't be in my account before the 2nd.
Do you think it's likely/possible that Tesco would push the DD back to the 4th/5th (just to buy me a day or two leeway incase something goes wrong)?
How would I need to go about asking for this?

Call them up and ask if it possible. If it is, they should be able to do it over the phone.Best Regards
