Mail order wine from France

Hi, does anyone know where I can mail order wine from France, at French prices (ie not the UK tax), for personal/home consumption, ie not to resell? After the recent ruling re cigarettes it strikes me this could be a legal and cost effective method of buying wine!

Cheers folks 10.gif

  • I've bought champagne through Vinatis.com before and they were both reasonably priced and relatively quick delivery (less than a week). I should probably point out that being a French site, it is all in French...

Thank you!!! Have discovered that they also have an English site http://www.vinatis.co.uk

Although it's cheaper to buy from the French site!

I notice that this site says that an excise duty of £1.41 is included in the UK price. Anyone have any idea of the validity of this reducing/disappearing?
