I doubt it - aside from the honesty aspect, Customer Services would scan the receipt barcode and it would probably show up as having been DTD'dYou never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow0 -

does anybody know if the original recepit is kept once you use a price check voucher. if you request to keep the original receipt yourself for your own records then you can do. the whole purpose of having the original recept with voucher is to match numbers on bottom, after this the origina recepit is still yours. you can then refund any items you originally brought0 -

Ok shopping arrived from Tesco 4 hrs late last night due to a van breakdown and guess what?
The receipt was missing :rotfl: so I've called Tesco who will post it out.
No doubt by the time I receive it the prices will have changed.:(0 -

They need to keep the reciept. I used a voucher last night and as the young lad on the till was unsure of the process one of the senior supervisors came over. The correct procedure is to keep the voucher + reciept together in the till unless you need to keep the reciept for something like a guarentee, in which case it gets signed and returned to you. She said it wouldn't infringe your legal rights of return if an item was faulty but that I wouldn't have been able to return things just because I'd changed my mind.
I would think though that if you were returning things on a reciept that you'd used a voucher with it would flag up on the computer at Customer services. Embarrassing. Anyway if you start buying items with the specific intent of obtaining a voucher then returning the items that would count as Intent to Defraud, surely? You could get into a fair old bit of trouble over that sort of thing tbh, not to mention the fact it's somewhat morally dubious. Self respect v a few pounds at Tesco? Hmmm...hard choice there.Val.0 -

why would you want to? after all your still getting free stuff £100 is alot of money
i've been thinking about this and i think were all going about it wrong were all trying to get the biggest vouchers we can, but acually the best way to do it would be a small shop fo say £20 with £20 back in vouchers and then keep doing this until you've reached £100 so you get £100 of food for £20, plus then you can carry your last £20 voucher into the next month and kee going, where as my mil paid £45 so she'll get £100 of food for £40 if that makes senseDEC GC £463.67/£450
