Where to buy a ring, Has anyone bought one from the USA and had it mailed here ?

I was wondering if anyone has bought a ring of the internet from anywhere other than Blue Nile and Samara James which I seen on here. ?

I am looking for an Emerald cut Sapphire ring . Have found a couple but not much, lots of Ovals around now though !

Have now found a site mdc diamonds, not sure about buying from the USA though. Has anyone done this ?

We bought our wedding rings from Wedding Rings Direct - http://www.weddingrings-direct.com - can't speak for the engagement rings but their wedding rings are great quality and were much cheaper than we would have paid on the high street. They also do a sample service which I think they do for engagement rings too, so you can see a mock-up of the cut etc (they mock it up in silver and I think cubic zirconia for e-rings) and try it on before you buy.

OH also got my e-ring from Blue Nile and it's also very lovely

Thank You, I have had a look at that site, the wedding rings look good. I have found a site in the US but not sure what happens about importing one and the costs.

I have had things shipped to me, but I have it shipped to my parents in the US first and then I have them ship it to me as a gift to get around VAT.

Do you know anyone in the US?
