Wooden Vertical Blinds

I've had some blinds on order for 3 weeks from www.blinds4sale.com, and just found out they cannot be supplied as the their supplier has let them down :(

I'm looking for either wooden verticals or wood effect ones, in a light wood colour. I don't want fabric blinds as my dogs get tangled in the chains and break them, and wood blinds wipe clean!

They need to be made to measure as the window is huge - width and height of the sitting room!

Who's going to be the cheapest?
Here I go again on my own....

We bought some from Ikea, the quality is not too bad, although if you need blinds made it measure I also bought some from this company, a good price and excellent service.http://www.blinds.co.uk/

The don't sell many of their items online yet, and they certainly don't list all the stock they have instore, I have ikea blinds in my home and they are good value for money. I am afraid you will have to go to store as they are not available on the website, Argos, Next and most catalogue companies i.e Kays etc sell wooden blinds online as well.

Thanks, too bad my nearest Ikea is an hour's drive.

Wooden Vertical blinds are so difficult to find, everyone seems to be stocking the horizontal Wooden venetian blinds.

The main problem with real wood verticals is cost, they have always been very expensive. There are a few companies around that offer aluminum vertical blinds with a wood effect finish, much cheaper and may be worth a look. I have seen some woven wood vertical blinds, they look to be very cheap in comparison.

I bought these ones instead of real wood:

They are cheaper than real wood, but look very realistic and visitors have thought they were wood. Real wood one worked out too expensive as my front windows are the length and width of the rooms.
