OOD wholemeal flour - would you eat?

I've got some bread dough rising. I've noticed, though, that the flour is dated for end of November last year. It looks and feels OK, and tasted OK when I nibbled a bit. Any reason not to go ahead and use it? I know the oils in wholemeal can go rancid, but this seems OK to me.

Def use it, have used flour that was 2 years ood before. I think that it is a best before date as opposed to a use by date.

I wouldn't use it but I've got a thing (phobia?) about using OOD food." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."
