Hi All,
i have just checked my egg account online and astonished to find that my DD had been returned upaid and have now been a charged an £16 fee!!

i have just got off the phone to my bank, and it seems the DD was cancelled on the 9th Jan, this was before i had even done my balance transfer, but i never cancelled it!

they have just re-instated the DD for me and i have just gone online to make a manual payment for the missed DD, however i cannot phone them until tomorrow to discuss.

the main thing i am worried about is getting a black mark against my name. will it show up on my credit report as a bounced DD even though i have made a manual payment?

i have never had a missed or late payment against me and dont want this to start now:(.
EDIT: sorry had one late one in jan 07.

thanks all.

  • As long as the payment was still made on time it shouldn't show up on your credit report.

  • Thanks for that dream.

Just checked my account and it's showing my manual payment up,also says that im currently paying the min and had no late payment charge.

Seems I've managed to escape a late fee and a black mark against me.
Now to find out why my original DD was cancelled.

    Cheers.
