Tea with Jaqueline Wilson from WH Smiths

Options
Had a call late yesterday to say I'd won afternoon tea with jaqueline Wilson (author of tracey beaker, tattoed mum & current childrens' laureate).

My daughter is over the moon!

This is my first proper win from the forums (I don't count the oil painting guy!)

I won this too but I had to let it go as I can't make it to London this weekend. I was really hoping I would get it though as I was really going to give her a piece of my mind

Well I know it's not entirely her fault but it was down to Tracy Beaker that my DD1 started shouting 'bog off' to people and generally disrespecting me and her other elders and copying the behaviour of her. I was going to ask JW whether she thought it was acceptable to influence children in this way. Now all shoot me down in flames if you want.

Wondered about this too, my 10 yr old is tracy mad!! and has an attitude to match. Hmm - maybe I should go for you and tell her LOL

Good luck to everyone with their comping. We went into Toys r us last weekend - I noticed a prize draw - not advertised freely and asked if we could enter, it was an hourly win, hung around and littlest dd won a paper fx kit worth £20. It was like xmas had come early!
If you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.

Yes I know what you mean. My 6 yr ole has a habit of saying "Shut your big fat gob!" which I hate - you guessed it, she heard it ion Tracy Beaker.
