Well, evening all.
I hope everyone has had a good Saturday, mine has been productive in the housework stakes, at least. Looking forward to a Tes*o take away Indian and a glass of vino later.
Hope everyone is suitably chilled.
Things to look forward to this week - pay day.
Come on in and say hello.

Hi Elliemoo
Do you know I haven't really done anything today. It was cold, wet and miserable so I decided to have a chill out day!
I notice that you put a star in words that are shops or products, yet I see them written elsewhere ok on the forum. Just wondered why you do it or whether it happens automatically?

Hi Ellimoo
We have had a relatively quiet NSD day today, played Harry Potter Years 1-4 with DS this afternoon for 5 hours - means my house work will have to wait til tomorrow
Never mind weather is supposed to be crap again so don't mind!
Just finished eating lovely lamb stew my dad donated to me mmmmm was delicious! Off to go and check on the ebay sales now.....
Hope everyones having a good weekend?0 -
Tenmah, its just a habit I've got into, don't like to mention too many brand names/stores - something to do with when you search on the net in general the posts can be picked up as well, or I could have just made this up in my own head.
Hope you enjoyed your chill out day, you just need one now and again. I will probably be less productive tomorrow, but my 3 youngsters keep me on the go anyway.0 -
i've had a good day - i'm starting a new job on the 28th and i need to dress smart for it ie, smart suits etc as i have to go to court as part of the job!! went into peacocks and got a gorgeous jacket, it's pale check pattern and it's got a skirt gathered bottom bit at the back with a cute bow. they had skirts to match but 16 was too big & 14 was a bit too snug so i'll have to just use it with black until i've slimmed down a bit more!!
also got 3 pairs of shoes today - a lovely patent leather black court shoe from asda for £10 and unusually they had it in a six & a half which you don't see half sizes often nowadays. the other two pairs were from NewLook and only £5 each in the sale - black court shoe with a bit of a lace effect on them and dark purply ones that are quite high lol but again something i can wear in court.
i'm getting excited now :j0 -
Evening everybody. Been car shopping today, putting my haggling skills to the test and did quite well i believe. Managed to get 200 off asking price, a fresh MOT and a major service thrown in so i'm chuffed. And i like the sound of a glass (or 3) of vino elliemoo! :-)Fleet Air Arm - 800 NAS - *Nunquam Non Paratus*Showing the 'Crabs' how its done for over a hundred years!Tesco loan, £4,000 over 3 years - £138 p/m6 months 0% bicycle finance - £60 p/m0

Hi everyone
Have spent the morning in bed reading papers and then the afternoon wrapped in 2 blankets reading books - excellent.2012 Saving challenge £1000/£400! Woo! :wave:0 -
I've done sod all today, we dragged ourselves out of bed at 1pm, toddled to the pet shop and pc world to get an ink cartridge before gasping at the prices and coming home and buying it online (like we normally do, don't know what possessed us to go to PC world!) - got a partial takeaway - curry from the indian - but made our own rice and poppadums as a compromise! Also had some vino.
