Mortgage free 20/20/20

Morning all, hope everyone is having a nice weekend.
Just realised this morning that we've paid off 10% of our mortgage since the start of this diary:beer:.
Can't believe how addictive this is. Now I need to save another £10K before the year is out to clear those pestkie credit cards once and for all. Then I just need to maintain that 10% reduction for another 9 years:eek:
But given the next few years are going to be the worst with interest payments, it feels doable.
On a side note, does anyone know how to change my diary name for a second time? Little bit embarassed
I was using the 12/12/12 challenge format and decided that 2020 should be my target. Didn't think there isn't a 20th month in the year LOL. Anyway is wont let me change it again and feeling a real plonker every time I add something to this diary.
Thanks in advanceMortgage Free Date

Well looks like my mortgage free journey might be coming to a fork in the road. The OH has seen a house that she apparently LOVES....
We are aiming to move up to Lincolnshire to be closer to my family and have been spending a lot of online time on rightmove.
Well this weekend we are travelling up for the weekend to view 3 properties, but one is head and shoulders better than the rest apparently:D
Which ever way it goes I'm still commited to clear our mortgage, just might be over a slightly different time frame.:pMortgage Free Date

A forever house must be worth the extra mortgage, which I am sure you will clear with as much gusto

Hope it's a house you all fall in love with and it'll be worth all the OP so far and the future ones too!0 -
Thanks, I'm hoping the mortgage wont be too much different, even possible smaller :j
