Surely they are imposing a disciplinary sanction without following due process?
They say in my welcome letter received when i started, that they.... "base their success on looking after their customers, in turn we do everything possible to ensure that all our employees receive the same level of care and support"
My AM's comment was............."we havent really given you the proper support and training for this role, and the assistants you have are crap"
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So why is that my fault? They had been in their jobs for two years before i arrived. Are they crap because of me?
After sleeping (badly) on it, i think i'd better fight this.
I AINT GETTIN SWEPT UNDER NO CARPET, FOOL !!!:T.0 -
It sounds like they are not a good company to stay in long term anyway so I would definitely consider the disciplinary. They said "it won't be pleasant" but that goes without saying. It won't be 'pleasant' to get demoted either and as they have obviously c**ked up their sides of things along the way, so let them try and wriggle out of it. Either route is not good so choose the one that causes them some grief.0

To me it sounds like you were fast tracked into the role rather than start a levels lower then work your way up and through no fault of your own your being demoted,0

You have a tough call, if you call their bluff remember they could just dismiss you with a weeks notice and you have very little comeback as you don't have a years employment with the company. The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!
