hi,
i am looking to go down the route of an IVA, i am currently talking with a company that i found. the website is IVA.net. i am aware that they will take a small fee but this isnt up front, it is out of the monthly payment once an agreement is reached with my creditors. Having thought about it i should have probably have gone with one of the charities. I am however close to supplying all the information that IVA.net requires from me. I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this company and what experience they have had with them?
many thanks for your advice

Yes you should. I would cease all communication with any net based company and do just that. Have you signed up to anything?I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -
Hi danp,
Never ever pay for something that the debt charities can do for you. A dmp with the cccs may be the way to go and I would advise you to contact them.If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

Hi
The fee for an IVA is around £6,000, aftewhich your creditors start to get paid (it is usually up front).
Has your provider explained that if you do an IVA, it is a metter of public record for life? You have to tell any creditor who asks, as they will if you ever want a mortgage. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
thanks for the replies. although it is not a charity there is no up front fees, and i have got a long way now with the process think i will need to stay with them. to be fair they have been very helpful. i am aware this stays on your record, and the iva lasts for 5 years of payments, but i see this as being my best option.0

You should be aware of the number of these companies going **** up and adding even more to your debts. Dont feel obliged to stick with anyone because they have seemed helpful & its a long way down the process. Check out todays Daily Mail (money section) for another dreary tale of someone losing out.
