Samsung vacuum cleaner spare parts.

I have a Samsung SC8442 and it needs a new hose. However, I can only find them for £30, which is a total rip-off as the hoover new only costs £70.

Does anyone know where I could get this hose for a reasonable price?

That sounds like a reasonable price to me. Unfortunately spare parts are expensive. One of the inner pieces of glass in our oven door shattered randomly a few weeks ago and that was £60. A replacement door seal for the top oven was nearly £40 for a rubber strip as well.....

Apart from keeping an eye on the sales for a new vacumn, check eBay for people selling "spares or repairs" of your model because the motors gone in theirs or something perhaps?

Might also be worth getting the part number of the hose as they often use the same hose on different models, sometimes even makes. Perhaps you can find it cheaper by looking that way, or maybe one of those models as a spare or repair.
