Mortgage lender that is. I've read on here of HSBC being the pickiest, so who's the least?

There all picky....times have changed since i got my mortgage 5 years ago...im remortgaging at the moment borrowing 62% LTV and its tough getting a decent rate. Northern Rock used to be less picky but there bad now...they wont offer deals to NRAM customers coming off fixed rates. It just depends on your credit score...im paying some credit cards off as a result but if i hadnt had them i would of got a better rate cos my LTV value would of been better. Its all down to your own circumstances I didnt use a whole of the market broker which i wouldnt make the mistake again....they deal with all the smaller lenders but even some of them are worse than the big banks. Theres loads out there so see a broker and they can try and match you up with someone who will accept you.0

Impossible question to answer.
All depends on the circumstances of the individual. Some lenders will not do certain types of property whilst others will. Does that make the one who wont picky?
Affordability varies, criteria varies, credit score or no credit score etc.
Too many variables.
If you are concerned about your application to a lender then make sure you know all of the criteria before application.

all the least picky are either out of business or government controlled
at the end of the day
if you are money conscious, have reasonable expectations, a solid deposit, reasonable levels of income
you will get a mortgage, most people who fail mortgage applications either want too much, or have poor credit historys
Its pretty simple, would you lend to a friend of a friend (you didn't know) £100 if you couldn't see a good safety net, realistic payment plan.. No so why should a bank0 -
I read this question as "Which lender can I get away with not telling all the facts to, or hide some information"......

I was told that Royal Bank of Scotland lent money to anybody who wore a kilt and drank whisky.

Oh you lot are so suspicious and cynical. I read as an answer to another post that someone posted 'HSBC are the pickiest', out of curiosity I wondered so who is the least. That. Is. All. Not because I want to defraud a lender fer gawds sake.0
