Seriously messed about by bank and now they remove facilities inc card and overdraft

Last march had some transcations I didnt recognise, was told to wait a few weeks just in case it was something I bought but from a company that used a different name to collect.

In April more money started coming off, and more and more so by June had about £2500 taken.

Bank just kept saying they couldnt do anything about it (Barclays) but put a block on that one company for 30 days and told me to investigate myself which took months.

By this time I was over my limit and getting £22 per week charges.

Eventually around end of August got letters from the consumer finance team saying I must contact them immediately or lose my facilities.

Due to all the stress I left university and went on benefits since I couldnt afford to pay rent in university(though I paid up till I left) and went to a dingy flat and since then barely make ends meet(free internet from neighbour and I am tight with utilities so no heating even in the coldest part of winter)

Anyway when I rang in August they decided to remove reserve and put on a temporary overdraft and also fraud team finally took notice and told me it would be sorted in under a month.

Consumer finance said how long to put on the temp overdraft for and I said 30 days and to pay £50 off within 2 weeks to show effort which they did and I did.

30 days later still nothing so rang back and was refused an extension and just put my account on hold for 30 days, this sort of thing happened monthly till last month when I got a very rude person saying I was messing them around and there was no way any advisor would give a temp overdraft.

My credit rating has shot down as literally this time last year I applied for a mobile phone and was given it but took it back, but tried for one last month and was refused even a £10 a month sim only.

Anyway last week got a letter saying I had to return card and cheque book and if I didnt make arrangements within 7 days I would have my facilities limited so I rang same day and was told "no problem we will put account on hold for 30 days"

Today got a letter saying EVERYTHING has been terminated and I can no longer use account(but said if I dont pay the interest will be £0.00 strange) so I rang back and person kept avoiding my query about why was I told last week I had 30 days and just went "do you have a name of advisor" then when I said no never mentioned it again despite me saying a few times "what about the 30 day hold mentioned last week"

I was also angry that the guy said I had broken a repayment plan!!!! I paid in the £50 as promised and rang back just before the 30 days were up to extend it and they refused so it was them who messed me around.

The guy said my overdraft has been removed and I must pay within 2 weeks or it will be taken to court! and all I can do is go to citizens advice and get a reference number to put it on hold for 30 days and I also have to make a complaint to put it on hold.

What can I do legally as they are messing me around and saying they have no record of me ringing at all last year once for fraud or consumer finance etc.
