FOS in 2 minds about mis-selling endowment

Help

After 2 years I have just been informed by the FOS that they can not upheld my complaint about Nottingham BS mis-selling endowment policy in 1988. The following is the given reason, “ as you cannot recall the events leading up to the sale of your SL endowment policy. In particular you have no recollection of any meetings, the names of anyone you spoke to…...”
This is despite FOS first decision in June 2005 when they wrote to Nottingham BS and asking them to compensate as the policy was mis-sold. (I have a copy of their letter).
I have a few days to raise any new points. Appreciate any help or advice.
