advice needed please

Hi I was wondering if anybody could give me advice re. a financial associate. I got my credit report and it says that I am financially linked to my mum who lives at the same address.

I found this out by getting a credit report from equifax. My credit report was checked because, my mum had applied for a catalogue in her own name.

As far as I know are finances have always been separate. It relates to norweb cpu link dated 1995.

Excuse my lack of knowledge but I dont understand why. We have always had separate financial dealings.

Get in touch with Equifax and ask to be disassociated

My boyfriend has been financially linked to his ex because they had a mortagage together even though they haven't been together for over 3 years. He just called up the company they send some forms to sign and agree that your not linked. Should be pretty simple
