advice needed please

Hi I was wondering if anybody could give me advice re. a financial associate. I got my credit report and it says that I am financially linked to my mum who lives at the same address.
I found this out by getting a credit report from equifax. My credit report was checked because, my mum had applied for a catalogue in her own name.
As far as I know are finances have always been separate. It relates to norweb cpu link dated 1995.
Excuse my lack of knowledge but I dont understand why. We have always had separate financial dealings.
