Credit report marked as settled?

Hey all just a quick question to anyone that may know the answer.
I have paid 2 of my debts of this month and they have said that they will update my credit report. How long should i leave it before i order a new credit report to check that they have done it or how long should it take for them to change it as settled/satisfied?

  • Hi,

I check mine regularly and generally there is a lag time of between 4 and 6 weeks, so I would leave it at least that long before checking again.

If you haven't done it before - sign up for a free trial (there's at least one with experian), but remember to cancel before the free period expires
