Time for a new dentist in Glasgow area- any recommendations?

I'm looking for a new dental practice. The main reason is that my fab dentist has left the practice I currently go to and returned home (he's eastern european).
I've been persevering with the new dentist for about a year now, her english isn't great and she seems very hesitant a lot of the time. The last straw was when she referred me to the dental hospital to have a wisdom tooth pulled, hospital said no mouthwash as it can cause major problems and today my dentist told me to wash the site with listerine 3 times a day. I did get her to repeat herself to make sure I wasn't picking her up wrong.
I'm looking for recommendations for dentists in Glasgow city centre area, I'm NHS just now but I really don't mind paying privately for dental treatment as I get cash back for dentistry on my health plan anyway.
Can someone point me in the direction of a good reviews site? I'm trying to pinpoint 3 practices to visit and see how they feel.

I use a NHS dentist in Shawlands and, i have used many many dentists and this one guy is actually amazing! I'm a really nervous patient and he does all he can to help and goes out of his way to keep your teeth in perfect condition.
I don't know if shawlands is too far out for you?0 -
I travel well and I'm moving into the city soon so shawlands could work.
My work will be in the braehead area as of next week so I'll even go to a dentist near there if they are any good.0 -
I use boots - really modern and high tech with great service - perhaps there is one near you.0

I didn't even know Boots had dentists!0

I didn't really like dental visits before, but the dentist and hygienist here are really positive and inspire me to look after my teeth.

Well, ill pm you the details of the dentist guy i use anyway. He is honestly fantastic and really straight forward and honest about any work needing done. might be worth a wee call and go along and see how you feel about him

Oh a hygienist would be nice, my current practice doesn't have one and you can't just book in for a cleaning session like the last dentist used to do.0

I think there is one in (forgive my spelling) sauchiehall street?0

Do you know if he's any good? There's one on bath street but they seem to do everything and not just dental, don't know if this is a good or bad thing?0
