Cheapest weekend hire of Audi R8 ? HELP !!

Hi, I would like to hire an Audi r8 for my best friends wedding from Friday 12th August 2011 - Monday 15th August 2011. The cheapest I can find is about £1500 for the weekend but then there is a £3500 deposit.(AVIS Car hire). Does anybody know of anywhere cheaper or can help me as I would like to keep costs to a minimum and it would make the grooms wedding complete as I would like to drive him to the church in it.

Maybe approach a local Audi dealer and negotiate a bit of positive advertising for them with the local newspaper? You may even be able to get one for free that way...I've seen it done before

If the wedding is near London then this place seems to have it for £850. No idea what they are like, but might be worth a call.

Groupon had a deal last week for a weekend hire, Fri to Mon £620
I think its run out now but it was with Fusion of London. Try checking the Groupon website incase they run it again.0
