It looks like you have to pay twelve installments for the AXA policy ? but presumably you could cancel after 6 months and then just stop the LA fitness offer?
really keen to do this so interested to know what others think and how folk get on?

"The free LA Fitness membership will be cancelled if the AXA PPP healthcare policy is cancelled at any point in the first six months of membership."
I would think this implies it can be cancelled and there are no details anywhere about penalties if the full 12 months is not paid. any one else read it as meaning this??? might ring them tomorow and ask for details to be sent by post.0 -
Yeah - cos the contract presumably would be with axa not la fitness? all very confusing. I've been a menber of la fitness before and it was all 12 months contracts so we need to check this out.0

Can anyone tell me which policy is the cheapest? I just got a quote for £70 per month! Think I asked for the Assure one? HELP?!!0

I answered no to all the health questions, and put the access up to £500. I got a number of quotes linked to assure but assure 6 was the cheapest. I think it might have something to with your address too, it worked out cheaper for me to use my parents address. Also as the guy was keen to sell me the policy he gave me a month for three.0

Just signed up for the Access 6 policy at £23 per month. The guy said that it was a 12 month policy but if you don't claim they will let you cancel it after 6 months. So 6 months peak gym membership for £23 a month - I am really pleased as I was going to join anyway! Thanks for the OP.0

Brill sounds like there won't be much hassle to cancel then. My only problem is finding free there isn't any at the leeds club. Oh well you can't have everthing I guess.0

What i cant register to use la fitness in leeds??? How is that possible?
Didn't read anywhere about leeds bein excluded?:eek:0 -
Oops it seems the word parking has been omitted from my earlier post. Sorry to alarm you. I was thinking it's going to cost me to park evertime I visit. grr You can defo use Leeds, although the rather annoying sales rep at the club did try to tell me that the deal had expired purely because he didn't know anything about it. I even had to inform of thier own website address so he could check it out. However, I have persisted. They should now understand. I'm not sure if this deal effects the reps commision as he's been a bit off hand since he found out about me joining through axa. I did at one point feel like telling them to stick it, but it is such a good deal. Don't want to cut my nose off to spite myface kind of thing.0
