40% off (nearly) any new bike - including bikes in the sales

Not sure if this is old news, but the government have a scheme called Ride2Work, whereby they pay for approx 40% of your bike and you pay the rest through monthly deductions from your paycheck.
It sounds like a good deal, and I'm thinking about asking my employer to consider it. (First I need to save some cash, to get something decent)
