How does everyone display their sets of jewellery at fairs etc? I have a few stands for necklaces and some for bracelets and earrings but i'm struggling to keep the seta together.

You can get the stands that have the earring holes in and you could use a straight pin under these for a bracelet, I tend to only have necklace and earring sets so not had that problem yet

Done some stuff yesterday they are on my blog, I have managed to link it with paypal as my fb friends were all asking how much etc so gave them a way to pay it :)

Hope everyone is having a good weekend :)

I've skipped to here, the end :)

I've started with this lark.... not actually really made anything much yet as I don't have any space at all. My activities are strictly limited to going on courses, researching, reading books and dreaming. I also don't have a camera, I did have one, but I've no idea where it went to ... when I get a place I'll either discover it, or realise it's peculiarly lost (I've never actually ever lost anything in my life so far, so it's bizarre).

    So far I've:
    - been on 3 (cr4p) beading workshops
    - done silver clay, booked another clay day
    - done a silversmithing course
    - booked a whole week's silversmithing

There's not much round my way for doing this, the week-long course is a 5 hour drive away, but worth it.

I'm interested in 1001 things/techniques/methods ... and plan to have a budget of about £2,000 just on equipment and goodies once I can find somewhere to live that gives me the space to do stuff.

So far I've collected 500MB of PDF files of techniques, books, magazines - and watched 1.5GB of YouTube :)

I have a big list of links (probably nearly 1000 items now), recording/noting all the stuff I've been finding, in sections, so when I'm ready to roll I can instantly know who my suppliers are, where the resources are, I've got my "know how" in lists and I can hit the ground running. All the Youtube vids are on my HD, renamed to something meaningful to me, so I don't have to find them again.

So many great ways to make stuff!! It just never occurred to me before that "people like me" could make things like this.

This is really my first ever hobby, I've spent my life not really being interested in any hobbies ever before - and this one's kicked in the full OCD :)
