im not doing anything different - i think - but its coming out like milk. what to do????
using plain natural yoghurt as the starter, whole uht milk and three tablespoons dried milk.
any advice would be good.

Hello,
Is it live yoghurt you are using? Or maybe your milk is too hot before adding the yoghurt and is killing off the bacteria?

You don't need to heat the milk if you're using UHT. The only times mine has failed has been when i've not kept it hot enough for long enough! I fill my flask right to the top with boiling water the I stand it on a box (to keep it off the cold floor!), next to a radiator and wrap the whole thing in abig towel. That seems to do the trick!! I leave it for 7hrs min!0
