Waiting for being booked / Booking & Appointment waiting time

I was wondering how long it might take until somebody gets actually a booking for e.g. a spa on the high street. I have seen deals lately like the famous Ospa, which goes online with Groupon almost every second week and sales always about 1500-2000 coupons? Does somebody have experience with this? Don’t want to end up waiting a month for getting a treatment!

I think this varies from deal to deal, since the businesses are so different.

I cannot comment on London, but have tried a few groupon deals in Edinburgh, and the time has really varied. One provider refused to honour the voucher because they had oversold. Some have taken a few weeks to fit me in, others had availability right away.

If you want to have the treatment quite soon it will probably help to be flexible regarding days and times. If you can do a week day during work hours, I think it will be a lot easier to get a quick appointment than if you can only do busier times such as Saturday mornings etc.

If you see a deal that you like but are concerned, perhaps call the provider before you buy the voucher, to see how busy they are?

Then, if you proceed to book and don't get an appointment time soon enough, I think groupon will let you cancel the voucher within 7 days as long as it has not been used. In my personal experience groupon are slow to deal with customer queries (not related to refunds), but I have a read a few posts on here from people who had theirs refunded quite quickly.
