Contact from the OR varies across the country depending on how busy they are, if you have not heard anything after 2 weeks i would give then a call
As you have a private pensin they will asses you incme and expenditure and see if you have any surplus
If the treatment is recommended by your GP it will be an allowable expense regardless of the fact that PCT wont pay for itHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

It isnt up to the OR if you keep a mobile contract or not....its more upto the provider. When I told O2 anout my BR they closed may account and sent the final bill to my OR. Now on PAYG with O2 and to be honest i have been suprised by the good deals they offer on PAYG.0

It does vary the time it takes.
With regards to mobile, both my wife and I had contracts with O2. We didn't declare those at the BR because we were up to date with the payments, so weren't debts that needed to be listed.
No reason at all to tell O2 we had gone BR. A month or so later, wife actually upgraded her phone at the end of her contract to another contract phone (they won't normally do a credit check if you haven't had any payment problems). Actually though - we were both late with our payments in the month we went BR, as we were waiting for Co-op to get our new account open! We told O2 we had problems after changing bank accounts, and they waited a few days for payment.0 -
I am sure that if you told O2 you are BR they would inform you that you are in breach of your contract and they would close the account. They have a department that deal with BR's but if you chose not to disclose this then that is clearly your choice.0
