  • Yes, I prompted the FOS after 8 weeks and they started looking into my complaint.

Within 4 weeks, I have £5K+ returned to my FL loan account and a small amount of compensation. If you want the details, PM me with what you intend to send to the FOS and I'll give you a few pointers based on my complaint.

i have had a loan from 2002 8k and still owe 8.5k to date can you pm me with some pointers desperate

I complained to Cahoot about the rate hikes (8% to 23%) then Santander and got told to poke off. Complaint just sent to the FOS.

Some other folk seem to have had success with FOS.

Where? The Ombudsman decisions site has quite a few decisions on the Cahoot flexible loan and they all find in favour of Cahoot, aside from a couple where they was partly upheld on grounds other than the rate rise, which they considered to be an exercise of Cahoot's commercial judgment.

    This is the thread:

They paid out initially, until everyone complained then they shut up shop and the FOS switched sides.

Denza from the thread is looking at court action against Santander. Other than that its a waste of time.
