Wow- this really is shocking! And very careless- I have had my hair dyed in salons every time as a hair model but new hair technologists with some training but by far pros (as nice as they are and as fantastic a job as they do you can see the hesitiation and (few) corrected mistakes) yet I have never left a training academy or salon with my clothes marked, ever!

I would want to name and shame the salon and tell everyone you know but that must be hard knowing there are people you know and do like who still work there. I'd want to go back to the salon to see the people I had been chatty with and let them know exactly why I was not coming back and then suggest if this person ever leaves to let you know and you will return. See how well it goes down when you do tell your friends and they stop visiting the salon (if they visit the same salon).

I'd also make sure I was refunded for the top in cash in full and with an apology (from the person who spoke to you badly) and explaination as to why you were spoken to in this way. I'd still want to feed back that I wouldn't be returning as a result.
