The British Gas Company Rep hasn't posted or visited this site since mid November.
I would get the summons issued soonest if that is what you are determined to do.
What is it you have actually thown your teddy out of the pram about? The supplier won't supply you? As they have said, it appears they believe your exoisting supplier won't release you. You should ideally be speaking with your existing supplier about that. Or is BG your existing supplier?
Either way, following the official complaints procedure of the respective companies to the end is probably your best approach rather than wasting court time.
I wouldn't email a formal complaint.
(a) you can never be sure they received it (unless you get confirmation in some form) and (b) it is rather informal and so will likely get treated in the same manner. Send a letter, preferably by recorded delivery and head it COMPLAINT.
The supplier usually has 8 weeks from you making an initial complaint before it can go to the ombudsman. The exception to this is where the supplier issues a deadlock letter, then you are invited to go without further delay.
Failing to have first exhausted the suppliers own complaint's procedure in full will not be taken favourably by any judge you get involved in such a dispute."Now to trolling as a concept. .... What are you taking british gas to court for? Do you not understand the letter that you posted? They can't do anything as your current supplier is preventing the transfer. Really threatening british gas with legal action when they are not the problem is going to be a waste of time and your money. There's no sense crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.0 -
I see no mention of debt collector other than what OP says in post 5
Only that you stated your current supplier I assume British gas is objecting to the transfer assume because of some debt0 -
I added some more to my earlier post.
I have now read the two threads you linked to. BG are your currentb supplier and won't allow you to switch away. The supplier believes you owe them money. It is quite usual for suppliers to refuse switches to another supplier if there are current outstanding debts.
As mentioned in the other two threads, you need to resolve this with existing the supplier first. Raising a formal complaint would be the way forward if you cannot resolve this via a simple telephone call."Now to trolling as a concept. ....
