County Hall
Side of the Thames opposite the Houses of Parliment adjacent to the London Eye.
Short walk to Whitehall,Downing St and up into central London.
We have stayed there lots of times over the years when we go to concerts at the Royal Festival Hall
which is a 5 minute walk away.

oooh thank you
off to look!0 -
there's plenty of budget places including easy-hotel and travelodge. I'd not recommend easy-hotel unless you like orange rooms (seriously:rotfl:)! But travelodge has one in Covent Garden.
When my son went with friends they actually went to Thomsons (I assume any travel agent will do) and they actually found him a cheaper deal than we could find on the internet.
Other options we've used is to book via a coach travel company (I used to work for one and they get amazing prices on hotel rooms inc 4* hotels), one I stayed in 4* on Oxford street, Hyde Park end right opposite Primark lol.:T
Obviously if you want to splash out the Marriott West India Quay is very nice!!0 -
2 of the 3 are my daughters
one is going to be 18, the other 21
expensive time as it is
so splashing out as it is
the 4 days in london was just an extra for them to celebrate together
found a good deal in covent garden, and cheap flights
so bought them tickets for wicked while they are there
thanks everyone:T0
