How much is an eye test?

I'm off to specsavers tomorrow, but I can't find out how much the eye test is? Anyone had a test recently?

Its usally £ 13.95, but they've had a special offer price of £5 recently.

ETA. I paid £5 about 2 weeks ago.

Some people do qualify for a free eye test on certain medical grounds too.

I wish I did but I don't and even though we get CTC & WTC we are still not entitled to help! So much for the claim that 80% of people are entitled to free eye tests and prescriptions that I keep seeing bandied about!

I went to Specsavers about 3 months ago and it was 27 pounds!! Luckily my work have to pay for it as I work on a computer all day

yeah i go to tesco, ipswich, copdock, free there for everyone. guess they hope to sell you glasses if you need them
