IPOD NANO DOCK £5 cheaper on Ebay Shop than retailers own site

There is a new IPOD NANO dock that enables you to charge your nano whilst it has its cover on. These retail at £14.99 check the website:
http://www.itango-gear.com
If you look under the BUY section it sends you off to various suppliers: including zoodex and podzone (amazon sell it too). These sites are selling it at £14.99 plus delivery.
However, if you go to EBAY and search for ITANGO DOCK - Zoodex seem to be selling them for £9.99 on their ebay shop.

I'm not sure whether this is a mistake or not but this seem to be 4 or 5 pounds cheaper than on zoodex itself?

Not had a look but alot of sites use Ebay for clearing slow moving stock (usually at a lower price). Its also a way of advertising their site and when you get the product you usually get some sort of flyer etc in there plastered with there name/site/phone number etc.
When I worked at ProSport, I put aload of old clearance stock on ebay which sold at more than the original retail price.
And MailOrderExpress where I worked until a few months ago where in the process of getting an ebay shop set up, but are now looking at listing on "eBay Express" which is similar to the amazon market place.0 -
The Ebay ones don't work on the Second Gen Nano - whereas the ones on the manufacturer's website now do. Perhaps that's the reason for the discount.0

It is a mistake; yours!!
The ebay item is £15.20 inc VAT and P&P............................... so not £4-£5 cheaper"Success is not to be measured by the position someone has reached in life, but the obstacles he has overcome while trying to succeed." Booker T. Washington

Yep your right I guess: didnt read the small print and also didn;t realise that you could put a pre-vat price on ebay.
Its still a couple of quid cheaper buying from their ebay store as opposed to their web page (not sure of the weight for postage) so a guess.
Sorry bit of a !!!!!! about listing a pre-vat price on ebay as the buy it now price. Bit cheeky if you ask me.Waddle you do eh?0
