I believe this is not the case, and you are actually entitled to your delivery costs back too, should happen to return an order in full.

Oooh really?? I didnt know that, I may just go for both then?!:j

  • If you choose to return the item, you need to pay the p&P, if it is faulty the seller has to pay. HTH :)

BTW I would get the spotty one, much younger and fresher looking :D

I'd say for work I would definitely go with the polka dot one as I personally think the second dress, whilst lovely could be a bit too dressy for work.

Oh and if it helps I was told by a Sales Assistant in Peacocks last week that if you order via the website and pay for delivery to home and then have to return the item to the store for a refund they do actually refund the postage charges as long as you take the item back within 14 days.

To do this though you must return the whole order - so if you were to order any other items with the dress you'd have to return those too. Hope that helps :)

That is correct - it's the delivery costs I was referring to that you will get refunded. You would of course have to pay to return the item, however I'd assume 2nd class postage for a single dress in a plastic covering would be less than a pound? (certificate of posting would be enough to cover for any loss).

Since I learned about this I have been less wary of ordering stuff online to try, as there is less of a risk involved :)

Spotty one is far nicer - I think the blue one would be a little old.
