Unfortunately this varies between products, with computers or computer parts Trading Standards believed 14 days is a reasonable time, but with something like a hover or maybe washing machine it could be as little as 7 days.0 -

Just to note that the original query was about dead pixels, a certain number of which are allowed without the display being considered faulty. So if you want to return it because of (an acceptable number of) dead pixels, you'll have to return it as unwanted, and presumably will have to pay postage costs.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0 -

Yes, I think if you send something back under the Distant Selling Regulations you have to pay for postage back (only fair really) it not he same thing as returning faulty goods0 -
